RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Leader/ Clinical Administrator work directly under site medical director at a fast paced pediatric and internal medicine ambulatory practice ages from newborn to geriatric duties include, Training new M.A.s and competency preceptor, MA workflow schedule, Facilitate MA meetings/ Huddles, updates and in-services, Perform Allergy immunotherapy, Coumadin maintenance and patient education, assign MA roles and responsibilities, CLIA Lab Compliance, Vaccine and medical/surg par levels, Phlebotomy training, venipuncture, capillary and heal sticks, newborn collection such as Metabolic and Bilirubin screening, adult and pediatric immunizations, synagis coordinator, Lactation consultation with new breastfeeding mothers, address feeding difficulty and nutrition, cord care, rectal simulation, vitals T.P.R.HC, pulse oximetry, peak flow meter, and spirometry, nebulizer, MDI teaching, medical supply inventory and ordering, vaccine inventory and ordering, Point of care testing strep, mono, hearing and vision screening, rsv and influenza, perform ekg and interpretation, U/A with micro, A1C, pregnancy. Glucose check, Suture removal, set up and assist with I&D wound closure, wound care and pap smears, perform ear lavage, pt call back, triage and intake, code blue emergency team. Other duties as assigned, essential communicative component between pharmaceutical reps, practice administrator, support staff and providers.
